  • Temperature tolerance can be as high as 1450°C for all quartz products;

    50 ml Quartz Crucibles:
    5.0 cm x 5.0 cm x 4.8 cm (without lid);
    5.7 cm x 5.7 cm x 6.9 cm (with lid);

    100 ml Quartz Crucibles:
    6.0 cm x 6.0 cm x 5.9 cm (without lid);
    6.8 cm x 6.8 cm x 7.8 cm (with lid);

    150 ml Quartz Crucibles: 
    7.0 cm x 7.0 cm x 9.0 cm (without lid);
    7.8 cm x 7.8 cm x 11.7 cm (with lid);

  • The size errors are within 1 - 2 mm. The thickness of the crucible walls is 2 - 2.5 mm; Lids are included for all the purchases of the quartz crucibles. 

  • Standard dimensions for our quartz boats are as follow:
    50.0 mm x 15.0 mm x 7.5 mm;
    100.0 mm x 15.0 mm x 7.5 mm;
    100.0 mm x 40.0 mm x 20.0 mm;

    200.0 mm x 40.0 mm x 20.0 mm;

  • Standard dimensions for our quartz plates are as follow:
    30.0 mm x 30.0 mm x 1.0 mm;
    50.0 mm x 50.0 mm x 1.0 mm;

  • Quartz containers in other shapes and dimensions are also feasible on a customized basis.

  • High-temperature resistance
    The theoretical softening point temperature of quartz glass is about 1730° C, enabling many high-temperature industrial and laboratory applications. Our quartz products are safe to operate consistently at 1100°C for long-time applications and short-pulse at 1450°C for short-time applications.

     

  • Strong acid resistance 
    Due to the nature of quartz, these quartz crucibles, quartz boats, and quartz plates are 30 times more acid-resistant than ceramics and 150 times stainless steel. Especially for the applications involving both high temperatures and acids, almost no substitution can be made aside from quartz crucibles. 

     

  • Good light transmission
    Quartz glass has a relatively good light transmission in the spectral range from ultraviolet to light. The visible light transmittance is above 93% for these quartz crucibles. Because of the excellent light transmission in the ultraviolet spectral region, quartz is also the top material used for manufacturing spectrophotometric cuvettes.   • Good electrical insulation
    Quartz glass has a resistance value equivalent to 10,000 times greater than that of ordinary glass. It is a good electrical insulating material and still has good electrical properties even at high temperatures.
